TATAU: The Tatau Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) is conducting sanitisation at Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Kelawit to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 epidemic as well as in preparation for the opening of the school session on March 15.
The decontamination operation involved the indoor and outdoor areas of the teachers’ room, classroom, foyer, kindergarten room, assembly hall, teachers’ quarters and the main fence area of the school.
The total area of the decontamination process today (March 13) is 2,916 square meters ant it took three hours to complete the job.
A total of seven members of the Tatau Bomba were involved in the operation led by its Head of Tatau BBP Department Jankey Jikat.
The decontamination operation was also assisted by five SK Kelawit staff led by Senior Assistant Student Affairs (PKHEM) Rudy Chuat.
