KUCHING: Sarawak General Hospital staffers have to call the Fire and Rescue Services Department (BOMBA) to assist them to carry a man weighing 155 kgs.
State BOMBA Operations Centre received an emergency call at 7.31am yesterday from the hospital to help carry the 50-yearold man at Taman Kali, Jalan Resak here. Tabuan Jaya BOMBA then dispatched eight firefighters to the location.
The man had earlier on complained of being weak and unwell and needed a health screening. Upon arrival, the firefighters carried the man to a ‘stretcher’ and to an ambulance which took him to the Sarawak General Hospital for treatment.
Padungan BOMBA with two personnel was also involved in the operation.
