KUCHING: The Fire and Rescue Services Department (Bomba) yesterday received a report about a road accident involving a motorbike that collided into a car by the roadside.
Bomba personnel were despatched to the scene at the special overhead bridge at the entrance to Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (Unimas) in Desa Ilmu in Kota Samarahan.
Upon reaching the scene, Bomba personnel found out that a 21-year-old male driving a motorcycle was badly injured. His left leg was broken.
The victim Maxalexter Oneil Anak Marble from Kampung Sebuluh Lundu was taken to the Sarawak General Hospital in Kuching right away.
The rescue operation was led by PB Abu Hadi as Operation Commander, according to information obtained from
Pusat Gerakan Operasi Bomba Sarawak.
