MIRI: The recent two-day boot camp hosted by Pustaka Negeri Sarawak, Miri managed to attract 15 volunteers.

Held at Bakam Community Digital centre, the programme featured activities based on the concept of gaining knowledge and information.

The main objective was to instill knowledge amongst participants and various activities were conducted such as Filmora workshop (video making application), 3D Printer workshop, beach cleaning as well as library management workshop.

Pustaka was hoping that by doing the boot camp, it can bring people closer to the library and making it as a fun place to be and to learn.

Together with the mentors and organising committee, the programme participants were divided into several teams and they were involved in various activities including orientation session, information literacy skills classes, coastal cleaning community activities, motivational sessions, fitness sessions and many more.

The closing ceremony of the programme was performed by the Regional Manager, Pustaka, Salina Zawawi.
