MIRI: Coco Cabana here came alive over the weekend with the vibrant Borneo Puppet Clown Story Carnival which drew 22 entertainers, both Malaysian and from abroad.
The event, held on yesterday (Nov 18) saw captivating performances that left the audience in awe.
Among the participants were artistes from the Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, South Korea, and Peninsular Malaysia, each contributing their unique flair to the carnival.
Deputy Tourism, Arts, and Culture Minister Datuk Sebastian Ting who officiated at the event on behalf of Minister Datuk Seri Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah, commended the organisers for orchestrating an event of such magnitude.
He emphasised the importance of events like these, particularly in bringing joy and amusement to local children who were in attendance.
The carnival featured an array of captivating performances, including enchanting puppet shows, lively clown acts, and engaging storytelling sessions.
