KAPIT: Patrick Ferdinand Ubang Urai, an eleven-year-old boy and a Primary Five pupil of SK Sungai Amang, Jalan Selirik here is anxiously looking for his biological mother known as Urai Enchuk of Uma Bakah, Batu 20, Sungai Asap, in Belaga district.
Patrick, who was born at Kapit Hospital on January 4, 2008, has been looked after by his foster mother Karina Merango from Uma Ajan, Long Singgut, Baleh in Bukit Mabong district.
Currently, Patrick and his adopted mother are staying at Selepong 3, Jalan Selirik, here.
Patrick is desperately looking for his biological mother Urai so that he can apply for a late registration of birth certificate and also for Karina to legally adopt him.
“I have been looking after Patrick since he was born. His biological mother’s last known address was at Shin Yang Logging Camp in Bintulu. Patrick, who is now 11 years old, needs his personal identification documents and also for us to adopt him officially,” said Karina.
Karina appealed to members of the public especially residents in Sungai Asap who know the whereabouts of Urai to contact her at 019 4249063.
