The incident was reported to have occurred at a house in Taman Bumiko here at 10am on Tuesday.
Fearing for her safety, the victim, in her early 30s, decided to lodge a police report.
According to sources, the former boyfriend had threatened to harm her if she refused to return to him.
They said prior to the break-up, the girlfriend alleged that her former beau frequently beat her up.
