KUCHING: Two brothers sustained injuries while defending themselves against three intruders during a home invasion at Mile 10, Beratok along Jalan Kuching-Serian on Wednesday night (Oct 23).
Padawan police chief Supt Mohd Irwan Hafiz Md Radzi said the incident occurred at 7.30 pm.
“Three masked individuals suddenly rushed into the house but were confronted by the brothers. The suspects fled the scene without taking anything.,” he said in a statement today.
The brothers, both in their 30s, sustained injuries to their hands and heads and sought treatment at a private medical centre.
Mohd Irwan urged anyone with information to contact the Padawan district police headquarters at 082-862233.
He also advised the public to report any suspicious individuals or vehicles to the authorities immediately.
