SIBU: The Service Centre of Sibu MP Oscar Ling Chai Yew conducted another subsidised gas sales programme at Stadium Tun Zaidi here today (Dec 23), in a continuing effort to alleviate the daily financial pressures on residents.
From 7.30 am to 10.30 am, the programme saw an impressive turnout, with 500 Petros liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) cylinders offered for sale.
The red cylinders were available at a special subsidised rate of RM20 each, subject to availability and on an exchange basis with an empty cylinder.
“The 500 gas cylinders are available on a first come, first serve basis, while stocks last, which actual price is RM26.60 each,” Ling told reporters.
