KOTA PADAWAN: Government agencies dominated the 22km Government Agencies category at the annual Padawan Raft Safari 2024.
A total of 61 teams from various departments, agencies, hotels, travel agents, and NGOs competed in the event.
UKAS made a notable appearance this year, fielding three teams in the competition.
The race began at Kampung Danu, taking participants through scenic rivers and natural landscapes.
Padawan Municipal Council (PMC) chairman Tan Kai officiated the flag-off ceremony for the category at 9.30 am on Sunday.
The event was marked by enthusiastic cheers from participants and spectators.
The Padawan Raft Safari continues to be a popular event, promoting water sports and boosting tourism in the area.
It also serves as a platform for fostering teamwork and promoting a healthy lifestyle.
