SIBU: A group of 25 local entrepreneurs attended an entrepreneurship course jointly organised by Sibu Community College and Nangka Service Centre, yesterday.
Nangka assemblyman Dr Annuar Rapaee said the participants comprised those who applied for assistance from the Nangka Service Centre.
“All aid applicants are required to attend this course which involves four modules.
“These are the Basics of Entrepreneurship, Financial Management, Business Module Canvas and Digital Marketing,” he said in a post on his Facebook page.
In another development, the Deputy Minister of Education, Innovation and Talent Development said he has held an online meeting with headmasters and teachers from nine primary schools in the Nangka constituency.
He explained that the meeting was held to discuss the issue of ‘Our Children’s Learning Loss’ caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
“The issue of students being left behind due to the implementation of Teaching and Learning at Home (PdPR) needs to be addressed so that students do not drop out,” he said.
