KOTA SAMARAHAN: Beloved Indonesian singer, Cakra Khan, is open to an idea of collaborating with any Sarawakian artiste.

He stated that he is open to work with artistes in any music genre, just as long as the concept of the song is the same, and there is communication between both parties.

“If that particular artiste can work very well with me, I believe we could create a wonderful art out of it,” he said.

He also said that he would like to do is own big concert in Sarawak in the future.

“But that would take time and also tons of preparation and collaboration with the promoters and team behind the production,” he said during a press conference ahead of his ‘A Night To Remember’ concert in connection with a festival organised by the Faculty of Applied and Creative Arts (FACA2023) at DeTAR Putra Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS) yesterday (January 26).

On entry into the Indonesian music market, Cakra said any Sarawakian artiste who wants to do so should never give up and take any opportunity that presents itself.

“As long as you have the art in you, and you believe that people will love it, do not give up; your time will eventually come,” he said.
