BINTULU: In today’s era of rapid technological advancement, Bintulu Rotary Club needs to take full advantage of social media platforms effectively.
Tanjong Batu assemblyman Johnny Pang Leong Ming said this approach will not only help grow the club’s membership but also make it more dynamic and competitive.
In addition, he said, it is important not only in helping to promote and publicise the club’s activities, but also its achievements online.
“By effectively promoting and publicising your events, competitions and club activities online, you can attract a wider audience, especially younger individuals,” he said when speaking at the 39th Bintulu Rotary Club Committee Inauguration ceremony here, Saturday night.
In the meantime, he hopes that under the new leadership, the Bintulu Rotary Club would continue to make a big impact by supporting and serving the less fortunate groups.
Pang also encouraged all members to uphold the spirit of “Rotary Service, Selfless Dedication”.
“By working together, we can continue to serve the community and have a positive impact on the community of Bintulu,” he said.
Bintulu Rotary Club president Geling Ganyai was also present.
