KUCHING: Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) Stampin candidate, Lo Khere Chiang called upon voters to vote wisely and choose GPS that can give what’s best for Sarawakians.
Lo who had his first talk on Friday evening, said this to hundreds of supporters who gathered at Moyan Genesis Parade car park.
The talk themed ‘Sarawak First, United We Can’ will take place from November 11 to November 18.
He said to the voters, “send me, Lo Khere Chiang, into the parliament.
“I’ll help to bring the money back to us and what we deserve back to Sarawak to give what’s best for Sarawakians.
“I’m not someone who talks empty, and I hope this coming November 19, all of you will come out and help me by sending me to the parliament,” he told.
Earlier Lo said, the statement by the opposition (DAP) who pointed fingers at him as chairman of the Padawan Municipal Council (MPP) following the fire hydrant issue and the Sungai Maong Market fire incident, Batu 3 here last Thursday, did not weaken his spirit to fight for the people in the area.
“My job as MPP chairman at the same time as assemblyman is the best platform to provide the best service to the people.
“The people all know that I always work hard for them and don’t just sit and sleep in MPP.
“I always go to the field, that’s what differentiates me from DAP,” he said.
His second lecture was scheduled to be held at the parking lot of Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan Chung Hua Batu 10, at 7.30 pm yesterday.
The three candidates who will face each other are GPS Lo Khere Chiang, Chong Chieng Jen from the Democratic Action Party (DAP) and Lue Cheng Hing from Parti Sarawak Bersatu (PSB).
