KUCHING: The Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) Blood Bank is appealing to all blood donors to come forward to ensure continuous and sufficient blood supply for patients.
SGH head of Transfusion and Blood Bank Service Department, Mohamad Borhan Ahmad Ulis said the blood stock for AB blood type is currently at a safe level and to prevent excess, AB donors are advised to extend their donation to another three months.
“The Blood Bank Mobile Unit will be available at Ground Floor, Majma Mall from 10am to 3pm tomorrow (Oct 14).
“It will also be at Sarawak Multimedia Authority (SMA) Creative Heritage Innovation (behind Old Resident Office, Padang Merdeka) from 9am to 2pm on Thursday (Oct 15),” he said in a statement on Monday.
On Saturday (Oct 17), the unit will be at Plaza Merdeka (in front of Pizza Hut), and Mydin Semariang from 10am to 3pm.
On the last day, Sunday (Oct 18), it will be at Aeroville Shopping Mall from 9am until 2.30pm.
