KUCHING: Sports Toto 3-on-3 Basketball Jamboree 2017 is back again this year on 6 August, starting at 7am onwards.
Sports Toto (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd as the main sponsor handed over sponsorship totaling RM30,000 to Mayor of Kuching South City Council (MBKS), Dato James Chan in the Mayor’s office at Jalan Padungan near here, yesterday.
To be held at MBKS foyer, the Basketball Jamboree will offer seven game categories for the competitors.
The categories are Non-Chinese Men Open; Women Open; 20 and Under (Boys); 16 and Under (Boys); 16 and Under (Girls); 12 and Under (Boys) and 12 and Under (Girls).
Each category must have a minimum participation of six teams failing which the organiser may group teams from the younger age group with that of older age group except for the Non-Chinese Men and Women Open categories.
Each team is to have a maximum of four players and one of the four players in the team will be the Team Captain.
The registration forms are obtainable at Counter D, One Stop Service Counter, MBKS and can also be downloaded at www.mbks.gov.my.
The completed form including a photocopy of identity card and an entry fee of RM10 must be submitted on or before 3 August at 4pm.
No entry fee will be charged for participants aged 12 years and below.
Prizes in the form of cash vouchers, souvenirs and medals await the winners.
