KUCHING: The Malaysian Red Crescent of SJK Chung Hua No 5, Stampin Chapter is collecting books to be donated to longhouses, villages and schools in rural areas.

The programme is held to support the Book Drive Programme organised by Yayasan Farley.

Therefore, the collected books will be sent to Yayasan Farley at Mile 6, Jalan Penrissen here.

Malaysian Red Crescent Stampin Chapter Blood and Organ Donation chairman Wendy Tan said that such a programme is largely supported by the public, especially students.

“A lot of pupils donated their story books, reference books and activity books to support this programme,” she said.
