KUCHING: The Apoclaypse Car Club Kuching will host a blood donation event at Cityone Megamall here on April 6 (Saturday) from 10am to 2pm.
President Kenny Lee said the activity aims to increase the availability of stock for various blood types at Sarawak General Hospital’s (SGH) Blood Bank to meet patient demand and to prepare for the upcoming Hari Raya Aidilfitri.
“In addition to receiving a pack of goodies for each successful blood donor, the club also specially prepared a 5kg pack of white rice for each blood donor who successfully donated blood during the event, hoping to attract the people of Kuching to participate in this event,” he said in a statement.
Lee added that the SGH Blood Bank’s goal for the blood donation event is to raise 80 pints of blood.
“I hope that the public will participate in this event to donate blood this coming Saturday, so that we can achieve this goal together.”
