MIRI: A car caught fire in the aftermath of a solo accident earlier today (Mar 23) at Sungai Bakas Subis Bridge along the Miri-Bintulu road.
According to the State Fire and Rescue Department operation centre, they received a distress call on the incident at 5.27am, and immediately dispatched firemen from Lopeng fire station to the scene to help put out the fire that engulfed the car.
Upon reaching the scene, the blaze had already subsided on its own, requiring no further firefighting operation.
No injuries or casualties were reported in the incident.
