KUCHING: A female car passenger was killed in a road accident involving two vehicles at a roundabout in Asajaya near here on Wednesday night.
The victim was identified as Sarimah Abdul, 56.
The accident occurred at around 8.30pm when the Mercedes Benz car Sarimah was travelling in collided with another car at the roundabout.
Sarimah who sustained serious injuries was taken to Asajaya Clinic. She succumbed to her injuries shortly after arriving at the clinic.
Traffic police were at the scene to investigate the cause of the accident.
