KUCHING: A local man sustained body injuries after his car skidded and crashed into a concrete wall along Jalan Tun Abang Haji Openg in the wee hours today.
The accident happened around 3.25am when the 22-year-old victim was driving his car alone.
A spokesman from the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) said firemen from Batu Lintang station were despatched to the scene after receiving a distress call.
Upon arriving, the team confirmed that the victim managed to get out from his car and sustained injuries to his body and legs.
Initial treatment was provided to the victim before he was handed over to the paramedics to be taken to the hospital for further treatment.
The team also carried out flushing works to clear the road from oil spill before departing back to their station.
