KOTA SAMARAHAN: Graduates and their family members came together to celebrate their achievements at the 94th Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) Sarawak convocation here.

The two-day convocation which began on Monday (Sept 26) saw the Vice Chancellor award being awarded to Nur Nashwa Abdul Khalek, 23, who did a Diploma in Banking.

Beaming with joy she said her hard work and determination had paid off.

“I would like to work first but, if given the chance to continue my degree, I would certainly take it”, she said.

Another student who was equally elated was Ennette Faith Solomon, 23 who also graduated in Banking after two and a half years of study.

“I am absolutely thrilled and happy to graduate. Currently, I am pursuing my degree in Finance and will graduate next year”, she said.

Adlina Rahman, 25, who works at TVS as a news anchor and reporter, studied Office Systems Management and found the experience fun.

“I’ve been working in TVS for almost a year,” she added.

A Kayan graduate from Belaga, Zita Bungan,23, who is presently pursuing a degree in Finance graduated with a Diploma in Business.

“Although I come from rural Belaga, I made it and no words can express how I happy I feel to graduate”, she said.
