BINTULU: All central public libraries and Bintulu Development Authority (BDA) branches in Kidurong, Sungai Plan, Jepak, Sebauh and Tatau are set to resume operations tomorrow.

The operation hours of the libraries are between 9am and 4pm, from Monday to Friday, throughout the recovery movement control order (RMCO).

Visitors are advised to abide by the terms and rules set, namely the compulsory wearing of face masks; keeping records of names, phone numbers, and body temperatures; as well as the use of hand sanitisers prior to entering the libraries as well as to practise social distancing of one metre.

Additionally, visitors with symptoms such as cough, sore throat, or shortness of breath are not allowed to enter the libraries.

Only ten visitors are allowed to enter the libraries at any given time.

The libraries would only provide registration, as well as borrow and return services.

Visitors are also encouraged to wait outside of the gate or in the car when the libraries have reached its limits in the number of visitors allowed, following the libraries’ decision to prevent people from gathering in the lobby of the premises.
