DARO: Eligible residents here will have an opportunity to own a low-cost house under the Rintis Programme Rumah Spekra (RSP) project at Skim Pasaran Kampung (SPK) Badong Daro.
Daro assemblyman Safiee Ahmad said the project would benefit the people especially at SPK Badong Aga to have a comfortable home.
“This project will provide loan facilities and its costs are also subsidised by the state government.
“The implementation of the RSP project in Daro District is greatly appreciated and I express our thanks to Sarawak government, especially Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg for his concern and approval of this project,” he said at the Kembilan Daro Hall.
The first project will look at the people’s response and the demand for the project and if it succeeds in improving the livelihood of the people, more such projects will be done in future.
