Meanwhile, Wishesland president Chi Poh Yung said that the association is currently working on completing three projects.
The first project is to build a Neuro Science Centre to provide neuro-sound and neuro-feedback programmes to the cerebral palsy children. It is expected to be completed by end of this year.
The second project will be building a non-permanent Boccia Arena for the cerebral palsy children and adults to practice Boccia games so they could represent Sarawak in Para Sukma. However, the association is still waiting for the state government’s approval to build the arena at Jalan Crookshank, here.
The last project is to complete the Magick Garden whereby 20 sculptures are still in the process of completion. The sculpture, which costs around RM5,000 each, will provide sensory effects to the children.
“Hence, we are urgently in need of more funds to complete these projects for the benefits of the children,” added Chi.
