KUCHING: Some 120 players will take part in the Sarawak Manufacturers Association-Sarawak Golf Club (SMA-KGS) Pre-Gawai charity golf tournament this Saturday (May 28).

SMA president Joseph Lau Ka Hoo said the hole-in-one winner would drive home a Toyota Vios car, sponsored by Trans Paint Marketing Sdn Bhd.

“Various other prizes are also up for grabs,” said Lau at a press conference on Wednesday (May 25).

After the press conference, a ceremony was held to hand over the replica keys to the Vios to the competition chairman Stephen Mau.

“The objective of the charity competition is to raise funds for welfare homes.

“Besides, the competition is seen as the best platform to foster a healthy lifestyle through sports.”

Also present were PIBAKAT president Zaidi Ahmad and representatives of the sponsors.
