KUCHING: A charity hair cut during the fantastic seven-day event was organised by the Kuching Intercultural Mooncake festival committee where over 550 people got their hair cut by ten dedicated hairdressers.
The outstanding result with their cutting frenzy has collected RM1,100 for Society For Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SSPCA), the charity of their choice.
This was to assist them in time of need to fight the rabies from spreading in Sarawak. The committee is happy that they are able to assist through their festival the non-governmental organisations (NGOs) and asssociations through the seven-day event, be it in giving free stalls or to help in promoting good causes for a better Sarawak.
