BINTULU: The “Pink October Charity Run” by Columbia Asia Hospital Bintulu (CAHB) 2023 recently has received great corporate support and encouragement from the public.
The charity run is part of CAHB’s annual event to raise funds for the Sarawak Breast Cancer Support Group (SBCSG) and to increase awareness among the public, especially women.
“The proceeds from this event will be donated to the group to support its mission in providing physical, emotional, and financial support to women who are diagnosed with breast cancer,” said CAHB spokesperson.
At the event, Dr. Mark Jeevan representing CAHB presented a contribution of RM2,500 to SBCSG president Datin Juriah Sulehan.
The group also received RM2,000 from Harbour Link Group Berhad.
The charity run also gained support and collaboration from Parkcity Shopping Mall, Go Beyond, Universiti Putra Malaysia Bintulu Campus, Tugau Bintulu Cycling Club, Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) Bintulu, and HL Grocery Trading.
