SIMANGGANG: The Food Safety and Quality Unit of the Sri Aman Divisional Health Office intensifies monitoring of food premises here to ensure that operators prioritise the best cleanliness practices.
This initiative is propelled through Operation Clean Premises No. 2/2024 conducted by the unit yesterday.
The aim is to ensure that food premises always maintain cleanliness and safety, with operators adhering to the highest cleanliness standards for the well-being of consumers.
Furthermore, the operation seeks to ensure that food premises comply with the regulations set by the Ministry of Health Malaysia (MOH).
In this regard, owners of premises found not adhering to essential cleanliness elements will be provided guidance for corrective action to improve the cleanliness standards of their respective premises.
The public is also advised to visit clean food premises to avoid unwanted incidents.
The Sri Aman Divisional Health Office urges all food operators to consistently comply with food safety regulations to guarantee that the food provided to the public is clean and safe.
