KUCHING: A delegation from Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS) called on Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang JohariTun Openg at his office in Wisma Bapa Malaysia here yesterday.
The delegation was led by party president Datuk Seri Panglima Dr Maximus Johnity Ongkili.
Also present were Deputy Chief Ministers Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah and Tan Sri Dr James Jemut Masing.
Later, in the afternoon a delegation from Kuching Samarahan and Serian Associations of SJKC also came to for a courtesy call on the Chief Minister.
The delegation, led by its president Jonathan Chai, met the Chief Minister for half an hour and discussed issues on Chinese education in Sarawak. They also presented a few requests to the Chief Minister.
Also present was Local Government and Housing Minister Datuk Dr Sim Kui Hian.
Later, delegations from Sibu Rural District Council and the Single Mothers’ Association also called on the Chief Minister.
