KUCHING: Stampin MP Chong Chieng Jen has allocated RM35,000 to SJK Chung Hua Stapok to equip the school with a smart classroom as part of its transformation plan.

He said the funding from the Stampin service centre was for the purchase and installation of smart TV equipment to enhance students’ learning experience.

“The approved amount of funding for this round will be used to install smart TVs in classrooms from primary four to primary six.

“Assistance for classrooms from primary one to three will be provided next year, ensuring that the school will fully transition to modernised smart classroom teaching,” the Sarawak Democratic Action Party (DAP) chairman said.

He said this in a Facebook post today (Feb 15).

Chong, who is also Padungan assemblyman, added that after more than a year of active promotion, nearly all Chinese primary schools in the constituency are now equipped with smart TV devices, benefiting both teachers and students.
