MIRI: Piasau Assemblyman Datuk Sebastian Ting, together with members of the Miri Women Caring Society led by Betty Pong paid a visit to the Parents of Special Children Association (Pibakis) Miri Branch and the Miri Old Folks Home to share the Christmas joy of giving to the less fortunate.

At Pibakis, they gave out 20 pairs of school uniform to the poor and needy special students.

They then proceeded to the Miri Old Folks Home where the elderly were given free blood test. Ting said the event was jointly organised by the Miri Women Caring Society and the Malaysian Diabetics Association Miri Branch.

He thanked the organisers and all those involved for spending time with the less fortunate and hoped this would continue to be an annual event.
