TEBEDU: St John Church in Taee here has received RM50,000 from the Unit for Other Religions (UNIFOR).

The cheque was presented by Tebedu assemblyman Dr Simon Sinang Bada at the church recently.

In his speech, Dr Sinang said he hoped that the allocation provided by UNIFOR would be utilised effectively in organising church activities and improving the church’s condition.

After being briefed by the church’s chairman Beti Juram about the management’s long-term plans, he requested the complete proposal to facilitate future applications for additional funding from UNIFOR.

He also inspected the church’s condition to expedite the necessary renovations.
