KUCHING: In conjunction with the coming Ramadan, Masja Properties Sdn Bhd and Maju Wawasan Group Sdn Bhd are introducing the “Citarasa Malaysia” Ramadan buffet, at Level 5, Baitul Makmur 2 from April 19 to May 9.
Lembaga Amanah Kebajikan Masjid Negeri Sarawak (LAKMNS) CEO Datuk Abang Abdul Wahap Abang Julai officiated at the pre-launching on Thursday (April 8).
“The Ramadan buffet is not only for occupants of the building, but we also welcome the public, including non-Muslims, to try out more than 50 local cuisine.
“There will be a special corner – ‘Pak Wan Corner’, where Sarawakian cuisine is served daily.”
The food court for the buffet will open from 3pm to 10pm on the stated dates.
With ample spaces to accommodate 200 people at any one time and physical distancing, Abdul Wahap assured the public that the organisers would adhere to Covid-19 standard operating procedures (SOPs) such as temperature checks and registration via MySejahtera or log book.
“We also provide space for prayers, with strict SOP compliance.
“Guests can break their fast, perform their prayers and return to enjoy the dishes provided.”
Adults are charged RM68 nett for the buffet; children aged five to 12, RM38 nett, and senior citizens aged 60 and above, RM55 nett. Early birds are charged RM60 nett.
“Booking starts today (April 8) and can be made via WhatsApp or landline.”
