KUCHING: Kuching City FC’s (KCFC) experienced striker, Joseph Kalang Tie, is confident that the combination of experience and new blood will propel the club in their Premier League campaign.

“Obviously, my desire is to try to improve our position. We want to be better than last season.

“I believe the combination of senior hands and new players can be an asset to achieving this aim,” the former Malaysia international told Arena Suara Sarawak.

Winning promotion to the top-tier Super League is once again the City Boys’ main focus and Kalang expressed his confidence that this would be realised under the guidance of the highly experienced coach, Irfan Bakti Abu Salim.

He added that the new players and the seniors in the side had no problem adjusting to training.

“For me, there’s no problem…we’ve been training together for almost a month now.”
