KUCHING: A civil servant lodged a police report after his house in Kampung Semerah Padi here was broken into yesterday.
The victim, in his report, said at the time of the incident he was not at home and one of his neighbours had contacted him and told him that somebody had broken into his house.
He said he rushed home and found his house was in a mess. While checking his belongings, he found a hi-fi and a television set worth RM4,000 in total were missing.
Police were investigating the case.
