BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: Members of the Sarawak Civil Service (SCS) must continue working collaboratively to overcome challenges and ensure Sarawak’s growth remains innovative and competitive, said Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg.

“SCS must adopt a unified mindset. You need to operate under one platform, using the same technology and aligned thinking,” he said.

He said this during the closing ceremony of the Sarawak Civil Service One Team Retreat (OTR) 2024 programme, held at a leading hotel here last night.

The Premier emphasised the government’s commitment to modernising systems to better tackle future challenges.

“We, in the Cabinet, will strive to update the system so that we face no issues when addressing future obstacles. I also believe that our strategies are being recognised globally,” he added.

Abang Johari’s speech also touched on various key aspects of Sarawak’s administration, including global challenges impacting governance, the need for a systematic approach to service delivery, and the state’s commitment to continuous improvement by 2030.
