BETONG: Traders operating their stalls at Ramadan bazaar are urged to prioritise cleanliness and to conduct their business with integrity.
Betong MP, Dr. Richard Rapu said that traders must put their priority in maintaining cleanliness in every aspect and selling quality products to the consumers.
He said this while speaking at the Betong Ramadan Bazaar launching ceremony in conjunction with the 2024 Clean Bazaar Stall Competition held here recently.
“Attractive, quality products accompanied by a clean environment will draw more visitors, not only locals but also those from outside Betong.
“We have good road connectivity from various directions, which attracts more visitors, increases sales, and consequently boosts income for traders,” he said.
After the event, Dr. Richard distributed aprons and caps to the traders while visiting stalls selling various types of food, beverages, handicrafts, clothing and other delicacies.
This year, the Betong Ramadan Bazaar has a total of 128 stalls.
