SERIAN: The importance of close cooperation and good ties between elected representatives and agencies will further boost development in an area, said Dr Simon Sinang Bada.

The Tebedu assemblyman hoped the existing good relationships between the state and federal agencies would continue for the benefit of the people in urban and rural areas.

“The implementation of the responsibilities given must be carried out together with the relevant agencies so that any challenges faced can be tackled together.

“Having said this, I would like to congratulate the Serian District Council (MDS) for being able to do their best in giving various services to the people in Tebedu,” he said at a briefing on projects under the Malaysian Road Records Information System (MARRIS), Rural Transformation Project (RTP) and the 12th Malaysia Plan Project (RMK-12) for his constituency on Tuesday (Jan 25).

As a strategic partner between various agencies in Serian division, Simon said MDS has an important role in the development and implementation of various projects in Tebedu.
