SARATOK: Public Works Director (JKR) Richard Tajan conducted a site visit at the Sebangkoi Section, WPC06 of the Pan Borneo Highway (PBH) Sarawak following a fatal accident involving a family of four recently.
According to Unit LPB in its Facebook post today, the purpose of the visit was to scrutinise closely the location of the crash, especially from the aspect of traffic safety provided by the contractor as stipulated in the work contract of the LPB Sarawak project.
During the visit, Richard reminded the contractor to always prioritise the safety of road users and always monitor that the directional signs/traffic/road lines are in good condition and easily seen by road users.
He also expressed his sympathy and condolences to the family members of the victims involved.
