SIBU: A local man managed to escape unscathed after the car he was driving, crashed along Jalan Ling Chu Ming on Wednesday (Feb 22).
Sungai Merah fire station chief Abdul Mutalif Ja’afar said they received a distress call around 9.20 pm and deployed his men to the scene.
On arrival, they confirmed the accident and found the car crashed sideways in a ditch.
He stated that the 49-year-old driver who did not sustain any injuries, was rescued out of the car by passers-by before his men arrived at the scene.
The team ensured that the situation was safe before departing back to their station.
