KUCHING: The two-way four-lane road along Jalan Kuching-Serian Mile 10 involving WPC02 of the Pan Borneo Highway will be fully closed on Sept 2 from 10 pm until 1 am.
According to a notice issued by the Public Works Department (PWD), the location affected is in front of the Siong Tau Methodist Church at Mile 10 and there will be nearby alternative route in that area.
The complete closure of the road is to allow the contractor to install steel box trusses for pedestrian walkway.
Hence, the department advised road users to drive cautiously and adhere to all traffic compliance during the road upgrading works.
Road users are also reminded to plan their journeys in the affected areas.
