BINTULU: The traffic light intersection at Jalan Tun Razak here will be temporarily closed overnight today.
The Sarawak Public Works Department (PWD) in a statement yesterday informed that the closure that will start from 7 pm until 6 am the next day (June 19) is to make way for the construction and completion of the Bintulu-Jepak Bridge across Kuala Kemena.
Accordingly, road users are advised to use alternative routes from Sultan Iskandar to Jalan Polycarp Sim Ching Mong and Jalan Kambar Bubin to Jalan Tun Razak to get to The Spring Bintulu and Hotel ParkCity Everly.
Another proposed alternative route is from Jalan Sultan Iskandar to Jalan Rakawi Yusuf and to Jalan Tun Razak.
Road users are also advised to be careful when passing through the affected road during the construction period and to comply with all traffic management for the safety of all road users until the end of the construction work.
