KUCHING: Pending State Assemblywoman, Violet Yong yesterday questioned why the state government still needed to write to Putrajaya to send 600 teachers to Sarawak when the state had many qualified people to do the jobs.
She asked the Chief Minister to intervene in the issue during a press conference here. At the press conference, Yong touched on the case of a Miss Wong Wang Yuen who had applied for jobs with her Master degree for three years but was not recruited by the government.
She also hit out at SUPP for saying that it could help Miss Wong if she could approach the party.
