KUCHING: Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari today attended a dialogue session with Malay community leaders at Hilton Kuching Hotel.
Led by Pemanca Junai Rashidi, the event was intended to apply for the establishment of an association for the Sarawak Malay community leaders.
“Community leaders play an important role in assisting government administration to ensure harmony and progress at the village level,” he said.
Also present were State secretary Datuk Amar Jaul Samion, Assistant Minister of Utilities (Water Supply) Datuk Dr Abdul Rahman Junaidi, Assistant Minister in the Chief Minister’s Department (Law, State-Federal Relations and Project Monitoring) Datuk Sharifah Hasidah Sayeed Aman Ghazali and Tupong assemblyman Fazzrudin Abdul Rahman.
