KUCHING: Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg received a courtesy call from State Education director Dr Azhar Ahmad at the former’s office at Wisma Bapa Malaysia, Petra Jaya here yesterday.
The visit was in conjunction with the end of Azhar’s tenure after serving for a year and a half in Sarawak, since 2018.
He is transferring to the Educational Planning and Research Division of the Ministry of Education Malaysia in Putrajaya.
Accompanying Dr Azhar was the department’s school management sector deputy director Omar Mahli.
