KUCHING: Cahya Mata Sarawak (CMS) is calling on members of the public, especially regular blood donors to come and support its blood donation campaign tomorrow.
The campaign will be held at the Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) Blood Bank here from 9am to 3pm.
Those who want to participate in the campaign are required to bring along their MyKad, for first timers, while the regular blood donors are to bring both their MyKad and blood donation book or card.
“This donation exercise is one of its corporate social responsibilities to assist SGH in ensuring that blood supply is always sufficient,” CMS said in a statement.
It reminded all participants to make sure that they had their breakfast before donating blood.
According to CMS, SGH requires between 60 and 70 bags of blood supply for its daily operation including for distribution to district and private hospitals operating within Kuching division alone.
CMS will be giving out goody bags as a token of appreciation to the first 50 donors for their efforts to save the lives of people in need.
