KUCHING: Cahya Mata Sarawak Berhad (CMS) hosted their Hari Raya Aidilfitri 2023 open house for their clients and staff to foster the spirit of togetherness today.
The event saw about 1,000 invited guests, including media practitioners coming together to celebrate, mingle around and expand networking with each other.
The company board of directors, CMS group chairman Datuk Seri Diraja Tan Sri Dr Mohd Zahidi Zainuddin and group managing director Datuk Seri Sulaiman Abdul Rahman Taib were among those present.
Invited guests were served with sumptuous spreads such as satay kajang, laksa Sarawak, mee kolok, nasi briyani, local desserts and many others.
The open house was held at Wisma Mahmud, Jalan Sungai Sarawak from 10 am until 6 pm.
CMS is an established participant in the development of Sarawak. Since 1974, Cahya Mata has played a leading role in the state’s rapid growth starting from when it was the first cement manufacturer and growing to be a leading Bursa Malaysia-listed company, with its businesses focused primarily in Sarawak.
