KUCHING: 350 underprivileged chi ldren wi l l receive Christmas presents and school starter packs throughout this month, thanks to Bon Appetit Kuching. Green Heights Mall is collaborating with a charity food truck, Bon Appetit to collect Christmas gifts for underprivileged children through the “Fill the Truck” programme starting from December 1 to 21.

Bon Appetit Kuching founder, Jacqueline Chang, said the Christmas gifts for the underprivileged children would help them to enjoy the festive season and lessen their parents’ burden during the school session next year.

“Members of the public are also encouraged to donate brand new gifts that are gender neutral. Second-hand books in good condition are also accepted,” she told reporters after launching the event at Green Height Malls here yesterday. The present drop-off centre is on the ground floor of Green Heights Mall, Lorong Lapangan Terbang 2 here.

The handing over of the present will take place on Friday on December 22. Further information can be obtained at the Facebook page at www.facebook. com/bonappetitkuching. You can also contact Yee Lin at 082-572484 or email enquiries@ greenheightsmall.com.my.
