KUCHING: Common Ground, a Korean restaurant, recently organized its first-ever break-of-fast programme in conjunction with the month of Ramadan.
The event, named ‘Sungkei Ga-Ja’, was attended by several media practitioners, such as New Sarawak Tribune, Suara Sarawak, Borneo Post, TVS, and Era Sarawak, as well as media influencer Borneo Food Hunter.
According to the managing director, Thian Eik Chin, this is the first time they have organized such a programme, and it is their first year of serving a buffet platter.
“The buffet has a few dishes with different types of food and is served with our signature fried soy garlic chicken. We also have our special chicken dalgalbi, gimbap, and chicken mandu for the whole set, served only during Ramadan,” she said when met by reporters during the programme on Friday (March 31).
Eik added that if customers choose not to order the buffet platter, the restaurant also serves individual dishes and à la carte. “During Ramadan, people can try to make a reservation as this place will be fully booked, especially during iftar,” she said.
‘Sungkei Ga-Ja’ began on March 23 and will end on April 22. The buffet platter is priced at RM188 for 4-6 pax of people.
